ISES is nestled in the charming Pontiac hills of western Quebec, approximately 75 minutes northwest of Ottawa - the nation's capital. ISES is located on a private nature preserve and wilderness estate encompassing over 250 hectares of mixed forest, 2 small lakes, and 30 kilometers of 4-season nature discovery trails. Facilities include:
- host family residence - group dining/meeting room
- The Lodge - student/staff accommodation building with 6 bedrooms, private bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and outdoor hot tub
- Les Volières Cushing Mews - provincially licensed birds of prey (raptor) rehabilitation facility
- horse stables and paddocks
- sled dog kennel complex - home to 18 huskies
- rehabilitation facilities for various animals, including raccoons, coyotes, foxes, etc.
